Meikle Toir The Sherry One 5 Year Old Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Made using mainland peat from St. Fergus, the sweet phenolic content of the whisky amounts to 35 PPM. A lengthy fermentation period of 160 hours results in a fruit-forward spirit that lends itself perfectly to ageing in the finest Sherry oak.

This five-year-old single malt was produced at Glenallachie distillery, matured in a combination of ex-Pedro Ximenez and ex-oloroso sherry casks. The sweet peat works in tandem with aromas of raisin, dark chocolate and stewed fruit on the nose.
